MALTA

by

Malta is an archipelago, which means that it’s an island chain. To the north of the main island Malta you will find two smaller islands Gozo (Għawdex) and Kemmuna (Comino). The Islands lie in the Mediterranean Sea to the south of the island of Sicily, Italy.

All three Islands have their own magical spirit and are surrounded by beautiful caves, beautiful views and lovely deep blue and turqouise sea waters.

NEW YORK

by

NEW YORK! The city that never sleeps, the city where dreams come true.
I remember the highlight of my trip was on one of our last nights, when we were drinking some cocktails at this cute spot around the corner of Times square, they were playing some old New York jazz. I walked out to get some fresh air for a moment and I looked up to all these big beautiful lighted buildings …

The one thing I can say is; that although following my dream is not as easy as I thought it would be. Looking back today, it was the best choice I have ever made in my life.

CUNIT

by

My first stop was Cunit, it’s a cute little town in Tarragona Spain. What I loved the most is that they have a lot of beaches within walking distance. Also the sunsets were so beautiful, the sky would turn pink every night around 20:00pm. EAT BEACH SLEEP REPEAT.. Is literally what I did for the weeks that I was staying there. Just a while ago I woke up for work early, 5 mornings a week to be able to afford all the expensive material things I owned. Today I can say that my life is very simple, but I am truly happy. And I am so gratefull, that life has blessed me this way.

I share my love with all of you

MOVING ABROAD

by

Do you see these suitcases? This is all I have left in material things. Well not all of them are mine, just the ones on the right next to me. I sacrificed everything to follow my heart & my dreams and move to another country so I can travel the world. I gave up my beautiful house and all my beautiful furnuture, my job, my car, my clothes, my shoes …

If you have a dream don’t let anybody take it away from you, and always believe that the impossible is possible.

Music;  Lifts me up when I am down, Makes me happier when I am happy, Comforts me when I am sad. A LAST LOOK BACK

by

Before I continue my journey in 2017, I wanted to take a last look back at 2016. These pictures are from my last trip to Dominican Republic.

Thinking about the past year I feel grateful for all life experiences , the good but also the bad. I got the chance to travel more than I had before, I got to know myself better. I created stronger bonds and learned to appreciate all the people that surround me and love me. I am so grateful that I was able to share my journey with you through my blog.

A year of travel , learning experiences and creating strong bonds

SAN RAFAEL (Barahona)

by

During my stay in Barahona, I visited the gorgeous beach of San Rafael. What I love the most about San Rafael is that you can see the sweet river water coming down through little waterfalls and rushing in to the salty sea. There is no protective reef so Barahona’s beach is open to the carribean sea and is not safe for average swimmers. It is a great beach to surf though, because of the immensely high waves.

I wish I could show you more pictures, but half of the pictures I took this day mysteriously disappeared from my laptop. Which sadden me a little, but I still wanted to share with you the ones I do have.

The most beautiful things in life are not things, They’re people, places, memories and pictures. They’re feelings, moments, smiles and laughter

EL CAYO

by

For the ones who follow me on snapchat or have seen my instagram stories know that I recently was in the Dominican Republic again. I visited the island in May 2016 after 9 years and I just completely fell in love with the place where half of my roots lay. The last time I went there I didn’t bring my camera and this time I did bring my camera but my photographer couldn’t come with me. I did manage to let my mother and a cousin help me take some photos, but please don’t mind if they are not as great as my usual pictures.

ZANDVOORT BEACH

by

Nothing soothes my soul more than a walk on the beach or sitting down on the sand and Iistening to the sound of the waves while I close my eyes and just take a deep breath letting all the stress just fade away. It really helps me to dig deep inside of me and find my inner peace. The ocean is the most mysterious but also the most magnificent part of the earth. I think we’d all agree that the feeling the ocean gives you when you are nearby is just simply amazing.

Out there beyond that horizon your dreams await you and if you don’t chase them someone else will
